Mastodon is a microblogging platform. With Mastodon, you can join groups and communicate with their members. You can also communicate with other group users. This concept is referred to as "federation" in the IT world. Federation allows you to communicate with other domains, just like email. However, from a user's perspective, it can be confusing to recognize publishers for microblogging.
Youtube
Spotify is becoming an increasingly viable alternative to YouTube. We hope that Spotify will integrate with Mastodon so that we can have conversations with creators. This would make Spotify more social than YouTube. However, Spotify is doing a poor job of being a movie/film platform in addition to being an audio platform for music and podcasts. The movie selection for users is substandard.
Movies
Where to watch movies online on an account + pay per view basis. Not only USA movies but from all over the world?
We desperately need a platform to watch online movies from everywhere based on pay per view. For validating the account authenticity, an annual fee is obviously needed. Then, you should pay per time you watch the movie. For Netherlands there is Pathé-Thuis.
Office apps
LibreOffice is already for decades the best Office suite. LibreOffice is moving to an hybrid architecture that will make working together on documents via cloud storage as easy as with Google WorkSpace. And you can better work together via a hybrid-cloud than in the cloud because that enables you to protect your privacy.

We think that for now, proton.me is the best and most private alternative for gmail.

We think that for now, pCloud is the best and most private alternative for Google Drive; Dropbox; OneCloud and Windows 365.
Break out of the Microsoft prison
Microsoft is a smart marketing and cashflow piping company, not really the source of innovation. There are alternatives already for years for all Microsoft products, mostly technical superior. There has never been a better marketing than the Microsoft one however.
The best escape from Windows is ZorinOS.
